Harvard University class of 2003. A.B. in psychology, cum laude. Coursework included Social, Developmental, Cognitive psychology, Sociology, Consumer Behavior. Statistics, Econometrics, Evolutionary Biology. Additional coursework in Spanish, creative writing, Swing Music, African American, Caribbean, and Roman Cultures, Nordic and Early Christian Religions. I've also independently studied some web development and design, comparative religion, and U.S. politics and policymaking.

Experience

Experience tutoring for SAT, Algebra 2, Chemistry, English, History, Political Science, general organization and college prep, as well as tutoring younger students (grades 2-8), and teaching private swim and ski lessons. I have walked students through the college application process, helped with college and grad school application essays. Students have been admitted to many top colleges, including USC, UCLA, and some of the top business schools in the world. I've also been a professional writer for more than a decade, spending much of that time working in the non-profit sector. I've written for a number of publications, and even ghostwritten children's fiction.

Hobbies

I enjoy swimming, surfing, volleyball, creative writing, music and art. I can play the trombone and saxophone, and like to paint, draw, and write fiction and creative nonfiction, particularly political satire. I live with my girlfriend and her 11 year old son. I love to cook, and used to run an online magazine that was an arts and culture review that masqueraded as a baseball publication.
